What expertise do you have?

We have considerable hands-on experience of working with long-term digital preservation software (OAIS), as well as with archival description and semantic technologies. We have cutting-edge competence, calling upon a member of the International Council on Archives' Expert Group on Archival Description, as well as an author of an accepted full paper at iPres 2026.

Which archival institutions do you support depositing to?

We can prepare a deposit to any archive in the UK, from the National Archives to a local service. If you prefer, we can transfer the package for you too.

Which standards do you support?

We support all major preservation, archival description, and records management standards — OAIS, E-ARK, METS, Records in Contexts, PREMIS, ISO 23081, ISAD(G), CIDOC-CRM, and more. However your data currently looks, we can handle it.

Can you extract records from a live system?

Yes, both records and metadata. Depending upon the system and your requirements and restrictions, we can fetch what we need via API, or we can guide you.

Do you accept records stored on a hard drive or other storage device?

Yes. You can send the hard drive to us, or we can guide you through a network transfer.

Can you handle private and/or sensitive data?

Yes. We can filter it out, restrict access to it, and use metadata in different ways to flag it or label it, according to your requirements. Internally, we encapsulate and restrict access to all data. We work in accordance with UK GDPR.

Can you provide metadata for accountability?

Yes. We can provide meta-metadata/paradata for all of our processes, according to your requirements.

Do you offer additional services?
